Selected coverage

SavyaPrice covers a selected set of products and does not represent every product, model, brand, specification, or feature available in the market.

Coverage may vary by category and by product. Some products have more published specifications than others because the information available for public use differs by model and source.

The absence of a specification or feature from SavyaPrice should not be interpreted as confirmation that the product does not have that specification or feature.

Exact-model product matching

SavyaPrice organizes products by identified manufacturer model number.

Different model numbers, sizes, capacities, configurations, finishes, or product families may be treated as separate products.

Information shown on a product page applies to the model identified on that page unless otherwise stated.

SavyaPrice does not assume that a specification for one model also applies to another model simply because the products are related, belong to the same series, or appear visually similar.

Product titles and identity

SavyaPrice uses neutral product titles intended to help users identify products consistently.

Product identity may be supported by exact-model manufacturer information, including information such as:

• Product type
• Series or family
• Configuration
• Nominal size or screen-size class
• Other information used by the manufacturer to identify the product

SavyaPrice may simplify manufacturer wording for clarity and consistency. Promotional language, model-year references, trademark symbols, and other wording that is not necessary to identify the product may be omitted.

Technical information used in a product title may also be supported by a published SavyaPrice specification.

A product title does not, by itself, cause a corresponding technical specification to be published.

Published specifications

SavyaPrice displays selected specifications for each product.

A specification is published only when SavyaPrice has sufficient support for the specific model and the information is eligible for public use under SavyaPrice’s source-review process.

Published specifications may include information such as:

• Dimensions
• Capacity
• Product configuration
• Features
• Energy information
• Connectivity
• Display characteristics
• Other category-specific product information

The specifications displayed vary by product and category.

SavyaPrice does not publish a technical specification solely because it appears in internal research or because a similar or related model has the same specification.

Source review

SavyaPrice reviews product information using selected sources appropriate for the type of information being presented.

Sources may include government product databases and exact-model manufacturer information, depending on the purpose for which the information is being used.

Manufacturer information may be used to establish or confirm product identity, model relationships, terminology, and potential conflicts.

Technical specifications displayed publicly are limited to information supported through sources SavyaPrice has reviewed for the applicable public use.

The fact that information is publicly accessible on a website does not necessarily mean SavyaPrice uses that information publicly.

Source differences and conflicts

Different sources may describe the same product differently or report different values.

Differences can result from:

• Rounding
• Measurement precision
• Regulatory testing methods
• Different terminology
• Different measurement scopes
• Source updates
• Reporting differences

SavyaPrice may normalize harmless formatting differences while preserving the meaning of the supported information.

For example, a source value may be displayed with a unit or in a standardized shopper-facing format.

SavyaPrice does not intentionally create greater numerical precision than the supporting information provides.

When sources materially conflict on the same factual specification and the difference cannot be reasonably reconciled, SavyaPrice may withhold that specification from public display until the issue is resolved.

Product titles and technical precision

Product titles and technical specifications may sometimes use different levels of precision.

For example, a manufacturer may identify a refrigerator as a “26 cu. ft.” model while a published technical specification reports a more precise capacity such as “25.6 cu. ft.”

Similarly, a television may use a nominal screen-size class in its product identity while a measured display diagonal differs slightly.

In these situations, SavyaPrice may preserve the manufacturer-supported product identity in the title while showing the more precise supported value in Product specifications.

The title value should not be interpreted as replacing the technical specification.

Yes, No, and missing information

SavyaPrice distinguishes between an explicit negative specification and information that is simply unavailable.

When a supported source explicitly establishes:

• Yes → SavyaPrice may display Yes
• No → SavyaPrice may display No

When reliable information for a specification is not available, SavyaPrice generally leaves that specification unreported rather than assuming No.

For example, the absence of a published Wi-Fi specification does not mean SavyaPrice has determined that the product does not support Wi-Fi.

This principle also applies to filters.

Filters

Category filters are based on selected product identity information and published specifications available for that category.

Not every published specification becomes a filter.

SavyaPrice selects filters intended to help users narrow products using information that is sufficiently consistent and meaningful across the category.

Some filters are positive-only. For those filters, selecting the option shows products with explicit support for that characteristic. Products without the specification are not automatically classified as No.

Numeric filters, such as capacity, use the published values available for the applicable products.

Related models and product options

SavyaPrice may provide navigation between related models when the relationship has been reviewed and the related products are independently available in the public catalog.

For example, televisions in the same product family may be available in different screen sizes.

A related-model relationship does not mean that specifications are shared between those products.

Each model retains its own product information and published specifications.

Product images and illustrations

SavyaPrice may use generic category or configuration illustrations when an exact-model product image is not available for public use.

Generic illustrations are intended only to represent the general product type or configuration.

They should not be interpreted as an image of the exact model, finish, features, or appearance.

Search

SavyaPrice search uses public product identity information such as product name, model number, brand, and category.

Products that are not part of the public catalog are not shown in public search results.

A search returning no results does not indicate whether SavyaPrice has internal information about that model.

Report an issue

Users may report possible issues involving:

• An incorrect specification
• A missing specification
• Incorrect product information
• Another product issue

Select an issue type and describe the issue in the required notes.

Reports are review leads. Submitting a report does not establish that the existing information is incorrect and does not automatically change product information or specifications.

SavyaPrice reviews reports before deciding whether published information should be updated.

Submitting a report does not guarantee a change or response.

Independence and limitations

SavyaPrice is independent and does not sell products.

The inclusion or placement of a product, brand, or manufacturer on SavyaPrice does not imply:

• Endorsement
• Recommendation
• Sponsorship
• Affiliation
• Preferred status
• Complete market coverage

SavyaPrice does not guarantee:

• Coverage of every available product or model
• Coverage of every available specification or feature
• That every source is free from error
• That product information has not changed since it was reviewed
• Product compatibility for a particular use
• That manufacturer documentation or other source information is complete or current

Users may wish to confirm important product details with the manufacturer before making a purchase or other decision.

Updates to this methodology

SavyaPrice may update this Methodology as the website, its features, sources, or public information practices change.

When material changes are made, the Last updated date will be revised.
